There are many misconceptions about dandruff and its causes. Dandruff is only dead skin from your scalp which is shed and falls off into your hair. An itchy scalp can be a sign of heavy dandruff although this is not always the case.

How to get Rid of Dandruff
Use a dandruff shampoo such as Head & Shoulders
Get Rif of Dandruff using Fenugreek Seeds
Soak2 tablespoons of Fenugreek Seeds overnight in water then grind them into a fine paste the next morning. Apply the paste to the entire scalp and leave for 30 minutes. Hair should now be washed with soap-nut solution or acacia concinna

Get Rif of Dandruff using Lime
Take a teaspoon of fresh lime juice and finish washing your hair with a final application of the lime juice. This is thought to prevent dandruff

Dandruff treatment using Green Gram Powder
A valuable prescription for removal of dandruff is the use of green gram powder. The hair should be washed twice a week with two tablespoons of this powder mixed with half a cup of curd.

Boil beet tops and roots in water and massage into scalp every night
